Open Training series in 2015

Convenient and easy to sign up to, our range of stimulating open courses will run throughout this year, in Birmingham and London. Our open courses are aimed at:

  • Providers who have only a few delegates requiring training e.g. new or developing staff
  • Providers who want to train up to 30 staff away from their premises
  • Those who value the opportunity to network with others in the same field
  • Individuals purchasing training independently e.g. considering working in a new field or looking for career progression
  • Those keen on maintaining their Continuing Professional Development

We are now pleased to be able to announce full details of our Open Training series in 2015! We will be running two courses, as follows:

Supervision

This practical 2 day programme is aimed at managers who are responsible for providing supervision to teams and practitioners who are working with families with multiple and complex needs. The training would benefit managers from targeted teams such as Family Intervention Projects and Troubled Families Teams as well as managers and supervisors whose teams work with this group as part of their wider role, such as those in children’s centres, health visitors, early years and education.

Skills to Work Effectively with Complex Families

This is a 2 day practical programme is suitable for front line staff working on the Early Help/Troubled families agenda as well as school staff, those in early years settings, the VCS, Housing and Health.
