At Interface we know that the majority of individuals and families with multiple problems live in social housing and housing providers are often at the heart of dealing with these difficulties which can have a disproportionate impact on the quality of community life. We also know that chaotic families will disproportionately be presented as homeless.
With the managing director and many associates having a background in housing, we moved into intensive family work in the DfE families at risk team. We have been joined by associates with experience of implementing improvement programmes across housing, local authorities (LAs), the voluntary and community sector, schools, early years and children’s social care. Together, we share a wealth of skills, knowledge, and experience around services for vulnerable individuals and families, change management, improvement support and evaluation.
We set up intensive family support projects in housing services across the country through the housing challenge fund whilst we were the delivery team for the families at risk division in the department for education. We also created family intervention tenancies with DCLG and housing colleagues. To support housing providers and LAs with statutory homelessness duties, we have developed a range of tools, training and support packages.
A range of housing services and products can be offered, subject to need, but the following are currently offered as standard products. Additional service or product needs can be explored and met as required.
Our housing team will be happy to talk to you about your precise requirements. Please contact us.
