Information about complaints conducted by the Local Government Ombudsman in respect of a local children’s services will be shared with Ofsted and in turn help to inform the inspection processes. Equally an Ofsted inspection will advise LGO of any concerns or failures to apply changes.

The Director for Social Care at Ofsted, Eleanor Schooling feels optimistic in working with the ombudsman to help improve care for some of the most vulnerable children in England.
