Hillingdon - Trauma Informed Practice

We are working with LB Hillingdon to embed a trauma informed approach across their children’s services. Support includes a large scale training delivery program across multiple layers of the organisation followed by a series of embedding workshops.

Those involved are from across Children Services and include:

• Senior Leadership Team - initial training followed up by three half day workshops staggered over 10 months. Workshops will look at organisational culture, supporting staff, supervision and managing change.
• Team managers – 2-day face to face programme followed by 3 x workshops
• Social workers - 21 cohorts of social work practitioner training including a 2 day face to face programme followed by 3 x workshops
• SEND service – 2-day face to face programme followed by 3 x workshops
• Domestic Abuse advocacy service and residential staff will also be trained

We have a wide-ranging offer around trauma informed practice both in terms of training and also deeper support packages helping you to achieve change and develop trauma informed culture and inform and support the development of trauma informed policies, systems and approaches.
