LB Croydon - Family Hubs Facilitation

We delivered a series of workshops across LB Croydon to support the development of their Family Hubs programme.

We brought significant experience of the Family Hubs agenda, alongside learning from supporting other areas across the country. This enabled us to provide both informed challenge and practical support to leaders and partners as they developed their local approach.

An important part of the work was the value of independent facilitation. As external facilitators, we were able to provide constructive challenge while creating a supportive environment for discussion and decision-making. Our facilitators are highly credible and experienced professionals, skilled in a wide range of facilitation techniques that help groups engage productively and move towards clear outcomes.

We worked closely with lead officers to design bespoke plans for each session, ensuring they met the objectives of the programme in an engaging and inclusive way. Our approach helped build commitment to decisions and supported the development of clear action plans.

As part of this work, we delivered:

  • 4 Strategic SLT Workshops – supporting senior leaders to clarify what they wanted to achieve through Family Hubs, provide pace and external challenge, strengthen partnership thinking, and maintain a strong focus on outcomes for children and families.
  • 3 Partnership Workshops – large-scale events bringing together the wide range of partners essential to delivering Family Hubs across Croydon. The first event attracted over 100 participants, reflecting the strong level of interest and commitment from partners.
