PACT Family Group Conferencing

We delivered a 2 day bespoke Family Group Conference training course for a specific cohort of workers within PACT whose roles are to support the effective resettlement of women as they prepare to leave prison, for a positive transition back into their families and communities.

This was a skill based 2-day training course which encouraged the workers to discuss the practicalities of organising a family group conference and explore the dynamics of family relationships and how to manage change and transitions.

Specific case study was used and supported group role play to further understand the needs and role of each family member as well as the practical needs of the prisoner in returning to live in the community
