Rainbows Hospice – Strengths Based Working
Rainbows Hospice were interesting in commissioning training that complemented their planned changes to service delivery. Their request was for training in Trauma Informed Practice, Solution Focused Working and Supervision. In discussion with them we developed a bespoke three-day programme around Strengths Based Working that encompassed elements of the three areas they initially identified and ensured that each day built on each other, revisiting topics and making links between them as required. In between sessions they undertook planning sessions to consider how to embed learning into practice. Those attending came from a range of disciplinary backgrounds and had varying experience in working with children, young people and families.

- The supervision relationship
- Reflective supervision
- Stress within the workplace and building resilience
- Developing a strengths-based trauma informed model of supervision
