Beverley Clarke

Beverley has worked as a psychologist, coach and strategic manager in special needs and disability (SEND) for almost 30 years, primarily in local authorities in the SE of England. 

Prior to her career as an educational psychologist and senior lead for vulnerable learners, she enjoyed a short career as a history teacher and as a recruitment consultant.  Those who have worked with Beverley describe her as energetic and innovative, values-led and performance oriented. She prides herself on being a respected professional, whose work delivers impact through strong authentic relationship skills and technical expertise. 

Known for a strong focus on promoting clients’ ability to lead and function with authenticity, she also works within well-defined models of excellence. She is committed to the personal and workplace development of clients and to high standards of integrity.  She is able to draw on a career rich in diverse experiences – particularly in large public sector organisations - but with a particular focus on leadership and management in radically changing work contexts.

Professional Qualifications

Beverley holds a Doctorate in Child and Educational Psychology that focused on public sector managers’ psychological contract with both organisations and with clients in addition to the following qualifications:

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Coaching Psychology
  • MSc in Educational Psychology
  • PGCE

She often works in depth with coaching clients and supervisees to understand key motivations for work and the impact of these for performance and resilience in the workplace.
