Dawn Rees MA CQSW, FInstLM has 40 years’ experience in the public sector. Former director of a number of national improvement programmes 2005-11 for Government Departments and a senior manager in health Trusts and Local Authorities, she is a popular and dynamic consultant working with leadership teams and individuals in the public, private and not for profit sector.
She combines a natural talent for unravelling complexity, genuine engagement with clients and stakeholders with her skills as an experienced executive coach and leadership mentor. She specialises in working with organisations that are developing new responses to old problems and refining ideas about what it is to be a leader in the current public sector environment.
She is a recognised leader in her field in terms of writing and delivering leadership development programmes tailored to the needs of organisations and that get to the heart of the role of the individual in leading sustainable systems, managing change and motivating the workforce. She provides valuable insight and challenge to leadership teams in terms of method and invigorating methods of delivery.
Dawn has provided award winning early intervention CAMHS services in primary care and universal settings has three times been nominated as European Coach of the year and is known for her involvement in the development of integrated multi-disciplinary children’s services and systems in Russia, Sweden and Siberia.
Dawn is a Graduate of the Kings Fund Top Manager Programme, Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management & the Royal Society of Public Health: Member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, Affiliate of the British Psychological Society, and a qualified Myers Briggs I&II Practitioner.
