Emily has 14 years of experience in a range of roles at the Department of Health. During this time she gained substantial experience of managing both policy and project development which is now put to use in her work as an independent consultant. Focusing on health and criminal justice/health policy, her clients have included NHS Central Southern Commissioning Support Group, NHS England, the Youth Justice Board and Hertfordshire and West Sussex County Councils, as an associate consultant.
Emily’s skills in identifying policy compliance gaps and identifying workable solutions have proved valuable on a range of national projects. With an ability to work quickly with stakeholders new to her, she enjoys translating ideas and assimilating data within short timescales and making suggestions for change. Emily’s understanding of policy, and grasp of long-term strategic thinking, are matched by her ability to look at new ways of working at all levels of implementation.
