Joy provides training and consultancy support for Interface bringing with her over 20 years’ experience as a senior manager in Local Authority Children’s Services where she has specialised in the design, development and delivery of Early Help Services and the Troubled Families programme. She has consistently ensured that children and their families are at the heart of every strategy, every plan, and her passion is to enable front line workers to bring about real change in the lives of the people they support.
Joy’s background is in direct work with children, young people and adults in both statutory and third sector agencies. She has experience of working with new parents, young offenders, care leavers and unaccompanied asylum seekers, as well as in health settings and in schools, pupil referral units and colleges. She holds qualifications in counselling, coaching and career guidance as well as management.
Joy is additionally recognised nationally as a specialist in the Prevent agenda, and continues to provide training, support and guidance to a wide range of statutory agencies across the UK.
