Matthew is an experienced change management practitioner, involving the elements of people, process, individuals and teams to deliver transformed services and outcomes. He is skilled in a range of tools and techniques to identify performance improvement priorities and facilitate change initiatives. He has striven to widen the understanding and use of data to inform better decision making.and to engage people in a change process. Matthew's work has provided capacity and capability to an organisation's members own learning to enable the embedding of continuous improvement activity.
As a consultant, Matthew led a group of local authorities in the SW on the design and roll-out of a data led, self-evaluation tool to provide robust local insight in preparation for the childrens services inspection programme. Previously, he gave support, challenge and alignment to two regional field teams which were enabling the school reform, and extended services programme delivery in local areas. This required him to engage and influence leaders at all levels. He has also led business development for a charity promoting childcare and worked as a residential worker with SEND young people.
