Sangeeta Bhuhi

Sangeeta joins Interface with a strong background in Community Safety with specialisms in youth violence, domestic abuse, and offending.

She has considerable experience in partnership working at both senior and operational levels, across a number of sectors. She is excellent in both the development and implementation of evidence based strategies and operational plans.

She currently works as Community Safety manager at LB Newham and has also carried roles including Youth Violence Coordinator, Neighbourhood Crime Reduction Manager, Youth Crime prevention Manager and CDRP Coordinator. She has also lectured in Restorative Justice.

Sangeeta worked with our director Wendy in the Youth Taskforce at the Department for Children, Schools and Families where she was the National Projects lead. 

Sangeeta is experienced in training and consultancy. She is trained in motivational interviewing, counselling, brief solution focussed therapy and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming).

Professional qualifications

Sangeeta has a BSc (hons.) Psychology, University of Westminster, a Diploma in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) has counselling certificates and is Prince 2 qualified (Practitioner and Foundation)
