Vidya is an Associate Trainer for Interface. She has worked with a number of LAs and schools delivering Safeguarding, Early Assessment and Child Development training.
Prior to joining Interface, Vidya was the Early Help Training Officer at Slough Borough Council where she trained internal staff and voluntary sector workers in Information Sharing and Working with Difficult to Engage Families.
Vidya has trained many professionals from a range of settings including the NHS where she helped to design and implement a training package on Child Protection. She is also a qualified teacher and has a passion for helping children and young people reach their full potential in education and emotional development.
Vidya started her career in Healthcare Communications where she represented many well known pharmaceutical companies and their blockbuster drugs. As a confident communicator and presenter herself, Vidya has a keen interest in developing communication and presentation skills in others, and has embarked on a NLP Practitioner course in order to develop this interest further.
Vidya has a degree in Politics and Modern History from Brunel University and is a qualified teacher. She hopes to become a NLP Practitioner after completing her training in November 2015.
