Cheshire West and Chester have internally run some introductory Team around the family training session to ensure processes and responsibilities were clear. Cheshire west and Chester were now keen to externally commission an experienced training organisation to deliver advanced TAF training.
Staff based in health, police, schools, housing, voluntary sector and children’s centers were offered a one-day training program to enhance internal training.
Following the success of the initial 6 one-day programs Interface were recommissioned to support further. This included more training and also a 2 day train the trainer programme to support Cheshire West and Chester to continue with the success of the content developed which included:
Best TAF training I’ve been on!
Very knowledgeable trainer who gave lots of good advice and useable tips and tools.
Very engaging and energetic session – loved it.
Very satisfied with the whole commission. Good, effective communication throughout and a detailed reflective summary report provided which has informed an action plan for our newly appointed TAF advisers.
Interface were more than accommodating when we required changes to the program and circumstances changed.
Communication was fluid throughout the commissioning, delivery and evaluation.
Feedback has been positive and we are hoping to see an increased take up of the lead practitioner role throughout partner agencies working within our early support model.
