We are proud to announce the launch of our new Level 4 training programme - Working with vulnerable children, individuals and families. It’s a bang up to date course, shaped by local authority feedback and our experience of training 6000 managers and practitioners. It’s the first Level 4 qualification for the field in 5 years and the only one of its kind.
Why did we do this? Because the context has changed and we wanted to better meet learner needs. Staff have been bombarded by change (early help, troubled families, outcomes based frameworks, whole family working, integrated services, multi-agency working) and they need confidence, different tools, skills and knowledge. To meet these changing needs, we began adding additional content to existing programmes, and then thought - why not create what is actually needed?
There are three modules of this programme:
The course will develop confidence, resilience and competence in your workforce; leading to better outcomes for families.
There are many reasons why this will become THE qualification for those working with vulnerable children, individuals and families – five key reasons are set out in the paper here.
