Four days before Prime Minister, Theresa May, was appointed details of the Safeguarding Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) Grants 2016-18 was posted onto the government's Contracts Finder website. Interface were in receipt of £2m of a £60m pot in 2011. Also, of note is that 4Children, also in receipt of the grant since 2011 went into administration.
The £2.5m will be distributed between three safeguarding areas; female genital mutilation, radicalisation, and domestic abuse, drugs and alcohol misuse.
