DfE reveals projects to receive emergency funding

The government has named 14 projects aimed at supporting vulnerable young people which will benefit from £12m of emergency funding.

The funds will help pay for individual support for families at risk of domestic abuse, community volunteers to work with families, and continued support for teenagers at risk of exploitation. It will also be used to help support the mental health of vulnerable children and support children in care and care leavers.

The following projects are set to benefit:

  • North London Commissioning in Havering
  • Local Area Co-ordinators in Derby
  • Family Rights Group's Lifelong Links project
  • Building My Future in Ealing
  • Inside Out in Essex
  • SafeCore in Greenwich
  • House Project
  • NewDay in Newham
  • The Mayor’s Office London
  • NHS England
