Early Start Group - Evidencing the voice of the child

We have recently worked with Early Start to deliver a one-day face to face course on evidencing the voice of the child.

The organisation was looking for a course to support their contact supervisors in recognising and evidencing the voice of the child and being able to record this appropriately in reports and feedback.

Staff shared experiences and barriers in practice considering the importance of children with disabilities and complex family situations. The group explored tools and good practice throughout the sessions alongside lessons learnt from serious case reviews on the importance of the child’s voice. They valued the opportunity to learn and share together as one team. Learner feedback was excellent and reflected an increase in skills, knowledge, and practice. We look forward to working further with the team in January.
