Exclusion rates concerns the Education Secretary

Government announced a review that considers successful behavioural management initiatives which would help to reduce the 35 children a day that are being excluded from schools. Hinds wants fewer children to be excluded and priority would be to spread information and knowledge on how to move forward to reduce numbers.

Ofsted has already written to more than 100 head teachers to schools with high exclusion rates to raise concerns about their children being removed.
