Interface Receives GREEN Rating Following External Quality Review

We are delighted to share that our recent Monitoring & Development visit resulted in a GREEN judgement,

recognising the strength, effectiveness and integrity of our provision across recruitment, assessment, quality assurance and management.

The review highlights a centre that is very well managed, with highly effective systems, experienced staff and strong partnerships, all working together to maintain consistently high standards for learners and employers alike.

This visit focused on the centre as a whole, rather than a single qualification, and provided independent assurance that our policies, processes and practice are working well to support learners, staff and employer partners. The feedback reflects the strength of our organisational culture and our consistent approach to quality, governance and continuous improvement.

Strong and Transparent Recruitment Processes

The review commended our highly effective recruitment processes, designed to ensure learners are well-informed, supported and appropriately prepared before starting their qualification.

Effective Assessment and Quality Assurance

The review confirmed that good systems are in place to ensure assessment decisions are fair, valid and reliable, with secure record-keeping and appropriate checks on the authenticity of learner work. Assignment briefs were found to be fit for purpose, and assessment practice is underpinned by clear and effective policies and procedures.

Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) arrangements were highlighted as a particular strength. The centre operates a 25% sampling strategy, appropriate to the high level of assessor expertise, with enhanced sampling for new assessors. Termly standardisation meetings ensure assessment decisions remain consistent, valid and up to date, supported by qualified and experienced IQAs and a designated Lead IQA for each qualification.

Excellent Governance and Management

The review described the centre as very well managed, with a strong, experienced leadership team and systems that support continuous improvement. Policies are reviewed regularly to reflect emerging best practice, and governance arrangements ensure quality is embedded across all aspects of provision.

Skilled Staff and High-Quality Resources

The visit confirmed that staff are highly qualified and experienced, with the vocational expertise needed to deliver and support our programmes effectively. Delivery models across the centre were noted as a strength, with a mix of live online and face-to-face delivery enabling strong learner engagement and effective observation of teaching and learning.

Staff development was highlighted as a positive feature, with structured group training days, individual reviews and a strong culture of reflective practice and shared learning.

A Strong Endorsement of Our Centre

The GREEN judgement from this Monitoring & Development visit provides strong external validation of the quality, integrity and effectiveness of our centre as a whole. It also reinforces the strength of our qualifications, including our Level 4 and Level 5 programmes, and our ongoing commitment to meeting real workforce needs with confidence and credibility.
