Greater Manchester Immigration Aid Unit (GMIAU) has published new information sheets aimed at helping migrant children through age assessments.
The guides, written by the All4One Group, comprised of former unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, have been designed to support interpreters, social workers and those acting as appropriate adults. Each details the #SixThings young people want social workers, appropriate adults and interpreters to know about the age assessment process.
The GMIAU has also produced a Young People’s Guide to Age Assessments aimed directly at children and young adults going through the process.
