Attachment - an introduction
A practical hands on programme that introduces the concepts of attachment and understanding the role they play in front-line interventions. The course will create confident workers who feel able to implement attachment questioning techniques and gain stronger observation skills to include in the practice whilst working with families with complex needs. The course is suitable for practitioners working directly with families and young people in childrens social care, childrens centres, schools, health centres and voluntary organisations.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand the different categories of attachment.
- Be able to identify attachment styles through observations and assessment.
- Plan interventions and support based on attachment behaviours.
- All courses are offered on a Face to Face or Virtual basis.
