Shropshire early Help Service were keen to offer an accredited program to key staff that would enhance skills confidence and knowledge and be flexible enough to include internal processes and vision.
18 staff attended and completed the full qualification in the allotted 7-month period. This included early help family support workers, parenting practitioners, school support staff and those working with commissioned services.
All staff fully engaged in the process and appreciated being invested in by the authority. They produced some excellent written work and work-based projects including updating of leaflets and family evaluations forms, training school staff on understanding the child program and developing a community family cookery course.
Staff received their certificates in a well-deserved celebration event attended by managers and heads of service.
Interface as always have been professional and flexible in their approach and delivery, working with us to get the most out of the programme. Without exception the practitioners completing the Level 4 certificate have fedback that the trainers are excellent, the sessions varied and interesting, that they felt supported throughout the programme and that the course has improved their practice. They loved the projects, which are still being developed further for use by Shropshire Early Help Practitioners to use with families. Thank you
