Darlington - Effective Whole Family Working

This one day training was attended by staff from both adult and children’s services, alongside colleagues from the voluntary sector.  Training ensured a shared learning experience and a common language and vision for all.

 The content included:

• Identifying and discussing key legislation
• Recognising skills and methods to working whole family
• Recognising the advantages of holistic family working
• Identifying issues facing all members of families 
• Explaining the rationale of the assessment process across the service
• Constructing SMART family plans based on assessment needs
• Endings and closure
