Darlington - Effective Whole Family Working
This one day training was attended by staff from both adult and children’s services, alongside colleagues from the voluntary sector. Training ensured a shared learning experience and a common language and vision for all.
The content included:
- Identifying and discussing key legislation
- Recognising skills and methods to working whole family
- Recognising the advantages of holistic family working
- Identifying issues facing all members of families
- Explaining the rationale of the assessment process across the service
- Constructing SMART family plans based on assessment needs
- Endings and closure
