Tools to support work with families
This course will provide staff with knowledge and understanding of a variety of tools to support working effectively with individuals and families.
Staff will learn about genograms, chronologies, timelines and Eco maps. There will be opportunities to practice the techniques as well!
Content includes:
- How tools can support working with individuals and whole families
- Using and constructing genograms
- Using and constructing chronologies
- Using and constructing Eco Maps
- Using and constructing timelines
- Exploring how to use to improve relationships and assess risk
- The importance of reflection and professional curiosity when working with family tools
- All courses are offered on a Face to Face or Virtual basis.
