A practical programme that offers professionals an opportunity to explore the benefits of working with observations and evidencing what we have observed and their possible meaning to the child.
The course will cover skills and tools to use in practice and produce confident and competent professionals who feel better equipped to gain the most from each interaction with children and families.
The training will be hands on and interactive and enable participants to explore different theories and models. The training is suitable for all professionals working with children, young people and their families and professionals wanting to make the most of all their interventions and assessments.

We provided a 2-day core programme for a range of staff in the early help and social care teams.
We were commissioned to provide training for WSCC Staff dealing with customers on a regular basis who have complex issues around drug addiction/alcoholism and mental health.
We delivered a bespoke 1 day course to the Complex Safeguarding Inclusion Team at Manchester City Council
C-Change is a structured, evidence based approach to assessing parental capacity to change in situations where the parenting is likely to be causing harm to their children. Aberdeenshire were interested in further improving quality of assessments and particularly to enable practitioners to move ‘stuck’ cases forwards and provide practitioners with greater confidence to intervene in families who could make initial changes but struggled to sustain parenting at a good enough level.
