Attachment - an introduction
A practical hands on programme that introduces the concepts of attachment and understanding the role they play in front-line interventions. The course will create confident workers who feel able to implement attachment questioning techniques and gain stronger observation skills to include in the practice whilst working with families with complex needs. The course is suitable for practitioners working directly with families and young people in childrens social care, childrens centres, schools, health centres and voluntary organisations.
- Understand the different categories of attachment.
- Be able to identify attachment styles through observations and assessment.
- Plan interventions and support based on attachment behaviours.
- All courses are offered on a Face to Face or Virtual basis.

We were invited to create a one day virtual course on baby brain development and trauma for the Parent Champions volunteers at Coram Family and Childcare service
We have continued to support Brighton & Hove workforce development in understanding brain development and the impacts on practice.
We were commissioned to provide trauma informed training to staff in the family contact centre
Shropshire early Help Service were keen to offer an accredited program to key staff that would enhance skills confidence and knowledge and be flexible enough to include internal processes and vision.
